My daughter and her friends had a great time in the Pirate room for her birthday. We were very grateful for our amazing games master Phoebe, who was patient and supportive when a few of our autistic group members became overwhelmed and needed to take regular breaks outside the room- they loved being able to stay involved. Thank you Phoebe! We’ll be back for another challenge soon.

We doubled up for the night and did Pirates and Entombed with just the two of us. Both brilliant escape rooms. Well designed props, mechanics, lighting and puzzles. Quality escape rooms with friendly staff. Thanks to Austin and another gentleman which we were unable to get his name, for the friendly service.

We did the pirates room for a birthday and they played a birthday song during our session!! It’s a good amount of mind logic and difficulty. Average time is around 45-50mins. We did use a bit of the rope hints and the experience was fun with fun mates!! Thank you to Ryan from this escape room for making it super fun for us too!

Amazing room! Did the pirates one. Alice and Noah were lovely

We had an amazing time at Escape This Sydney CBD doing The Wizard's Chamber. The room was immersive, cleverly designed, and had a great mix of challenging and fun puzzles. A huge shoutout to Kat, our ever-helpful Merlin, who was a fantastic host from start to finish, especially with her well-timed hints when we clearly needed it! Highly recommend this escape room. Edit: We came back a second time the next day and once again they delivered an incredible experience! We did the Pirates room, which was a lot of fun from start to finish. A huge shoutout to Dean, our game master, who was fantastic throughout. He gave us perfectly timed clues whenever we needed them, keeping the game flowing without taking away the satisfaction of solving the puzzles ourselves. Another brilliant experience and we'll definitely be back again for more!

Oliver and Kat were awesome! My boyfriend had never done an escape room before so he was super happy with the attentiveness of these two and how informative they were. The Pirates room was great (despite us taking an ungodly amount of time with the mugs) and we are SLOWLY working ourselves up to do a horror one...help!

My partner and I visited Escape This (630 George St) today, and as completionists with 20+ rooms under our belts, we were excited to see what they had to offer. A huge shoutout to Adrian and Kodee, who were fantastic hosts and made the transitions seamless. We started with Pirate. The vibes and theme were spot-on, though we felt two of the puzzles could use a little refinement; while the logic made sense on paper, the execution in practice felt slightly off. Still, a fun romp for any aspiring swashbuckler. Then, we did Buried Alive. This isn’t just an escape room; it’s one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The atmosphere and story execution were top-tier. We managed to claw our way out with 10 minutes to spare! Deeply engrossing atmospheric details made it feel incredibly real. Warning: If you are claustrophobic, this is your nightmare—but if you’re ready to get you and a partner out of a tight situation, this is a must-do.

Noah was such an amazing host and pirates was so immersive and fun and will def be coming back for wizards

We had a blast escaping the pirate room, big thanks to Skye for the awesome experience.

Definitely give it a go, well worth the money

We came here for our first family Escape room and ESCAPE THIS did not disappoint ! We loved the Pirates challenge (we had a 9yo with us) and the puzzles were challenging but solvable and we were able to complete the challenge within the time limit ! We felt entirely private in the room and we were really impressed with the quality of the props and the puzzles.

Great smooth experience, we had fun escaping the Pirates room. Staff members James and Sophia were lovely and personable. The room was tricky and required some lateral thinking, but the optional hint system is a great idea.
